Starting tomorrow, July 18th 2025, begins the journey that will take me across the African continent—from Durban, South Africa, all the way to Kenya.
This is more than a road trip: it’s an open-ended exploration with camera in hand, capturing raw encounters, vibrant landscapes, and the unexpected stories that reveal themselves only when you travel without a script.
With the first and second stages in Africa now complete—filled with detours, newly added stops, and so many people who crossed paths with us along the way—we brought our trusty Land Cruiser (bubucar) back to Durban, where she’s taking a well-deserved rest while waiting for the next adventure.
Crossroads is a global project that views travel and art as a bridge between cultures. As such, it is meant to continue elsewhere—and not necessarily by car, which for now stays in Africa awaiting our next journey and some fresh new artwork.
Where will our next destination take us, and above all, by what means of travel? That’s all still to be decided. In the meantime, we’re wrapping up the editing of the episodes and the documentary covering this first, incredible trip (which we split into two distinct chapters)
