A journey into the heart of Italy to film six different local producers, creating a series of mini-documentaries for a Dutch client. From artisanal pasta and essential oils to exclusive wines, six short documentaries crafted for the big screen.

Near the Belarusian border, I am documenting the final Tatar descendants in Europe. In villages lost amidst vast snowy plains, the powerful European bison roam, while wolves are evolving their hunting strategies by forming larger packs. From this work, a new concept has emerged to tell the story of the European wolf, collaborating with an expert tracker who has spent years devoted to these creatures.

I am very happy to begin work on this new documentary, which weaves together the inextricably linked stories of Amir—a dear friend and survivor of the Balkan War as a child—and the Hotel Igman, just months before its demolition to make way for a new hotel complex. This is where Amir took refuge with his grandmother when the bombings began, and it is here that he shares his feelings, his losses, and how those moments scarred his life forever.

In this dedicated special—the first part of a larger documentary project on Hungary—I capture the magic of Halloween night in stunning Budapest. From wandering through the city's iconic ruin bars to capturing the essence of its historic bridges and the dark allure of the river, I explore the unique soul of this capital under the cover of night.

I returned to Sarajevo in the heart of autumn to document Tito’s Bunker, a massive shelter steeped in history, hidden deep within the mountains between Sarajevo and Mostar. Beyond the filming itself, these shoots served as essential scouting for an upcoming project I am organizing, focused on integrating tourism and education.

Crossroads: Cultures in Motion
A project I have nurtured for a long time: the dream of traveling freely aboard a 4x4 vehicle, expertly modified to tackle any terrain while serving as a space to sleep and work. Alongside me, a multi-ethnic team ready to seize the moment and narrate it through the lens of their unique cultural and professional backgrounds. This is how Crossroads: Cultures in Motion was born.
The Journey Begins
We set off from Durban, South Africa, with our first team and a guide I had met during previous documentaries—a ranger with incredible skills and a fantastic passion for nature. Our route follows the East Coast almost to the border of Mozambique, before descending toward Lesotho. From there, we head further south to Knysna and the Garden Route, taking a detour north into the Karoo, then on to the Cape. The journey continues through the desert into Namibia, up to the Angolan border, through Botswana, and finally reaching a milestone stop in Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls.
Art Without Borders
As we travel, the team evolves, and we encounter diverse cultures and artists. The 4x4 itself becomes a piece of "mobile art," decorated by street artists along the way—a living testimony that culture knows no borders and unites the world.
An Ambitious Vision
My project doesn’t end here. The ambitious goal is to travel to other corners of the globe, using my documentaries to witness how connected the world truly is through the medium of art and culture. My dream is to organize an exhibition on every continent featuring these photographs, the decorated vehicle, and the music collected along the way.
I am currently working toward this vision, but for now, the adventure has begun—and it has already changed and enriched me.
How to Watch
The first documentary series is currently airing on the Marco Polo channel, available throughout Italy and across Europe on Eurosat (Channel 55). Negotiations are also underway for broadcasting in the United States.

In collaboration with the Cuban Tourism Board, we flew to the stunning island of Cuba to travel across it from north to south, producing 10 television documentaries of 24 minutes each, focused on high-end hotels and exclusive destinations, with the aim of promoting an island that in recent years has faced significant negative media coverage in the tourism sector, often without real justification.

Undoubtedly, the situation is not entirely rosy. The embargo creates challenges at every level, particularly for the local population, which today can find a viable economic solution mainly through tourism. This results in visitors being well protected and welcomed by a warm and courteous people, who take great care in offering attentive and genuine hospitality.

All of this unfolds within the timeless charm of an island full of contradictions, where—between a Hemingway-style daiquiri and a pink Cadillac—time seems to stand still, and one can enjoy a fine cigar while gazing at vast murals set in unspoiled valleys.

In this new shoot, we experimented with the hives where excellent honey is produced and with one of the last shepherds still trying their hand at transhumance, accompanied by the faithful dogs that keep at bay the hordes of ravenous wolves that proliferate in the Abruzzo Apennines. an intense experience for those who still live in contact with the land as they once did, between slower rhythms and very close relationships with animals.

A short expedition to scout locations for upcoming shoots aboard the new production vehicle, a 4x4 we'll be testing in Africa. During this trip, I spent a few days scouting suitable camping locations in areas of particular interest, allowing me to tell the story of this island in a unique way.
